This particularly beautiful and unique vintage brooch was designed and crafted by Le Triomphe in the 1960s. Le Triomphe was a French jewelry design house very prominent in the middle to early-late 1900s and is known for there bold use of color, organic and fluid designs and prominent display of gold and unique gold finishes. Their stamp is quite unique and elaborate as it is engraved onto every piece and features the Arc de Triomphe which honors those who and fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars. This pin resembles a blooming flower made of solid 18kt yellow gold and platinum. The flower buds exhibit lush green enamel work with polished gold beads rising from inside the tips which surround deep blue sugarloaf cabochon cut natural lapis lazuli gemstone’s. The larger bud features round full cut 4-prong set diamond’s instead of gold bead’s and a much larger sugarloaf lapis gem. Diamond’s encrusted in platinum flow through the intertwining gold. The piece is brilliantly imagined and expertly crafted as it has a nice solid weight to it at 24.5 grams. There are 22 diamond’s graded G-H in color and SI1 in clarity and weigh approximately 1.00 carat total weight. The brooch measures 1 5/8” in length, 1 1/8” in width” and about 3/4” in depth. This rare French piece of jewelry is in spectacular condition.
