Antique Victorian Emerald Brooch Pin with Rose Cut Diamonds

This elegant and rare antique brooch was crafted in the late 1800s Victorian period and boasts an incredible natural emerald precious gemstone at its center. The gem weighs approximately 2.55 carats and is bezel set in sterling silver as are the rest of the accent diamonds. The back of the brooch employs plates and casts of 14-karat gold for structural support. There are 26 rose-cut natural diamonds beautifully arranged around the emerald and they weigh a total of approximately 1.00 carat. The brooch has a fine antique patina and is in very good condition considering its age.
