David Webb Diamond Pendant Brooch in Platinum & 18K Hammered Gold Rope 1.75ctw

R3-005

David Webb is of the most respected and revered jeweler’s in history and especially in America as his bold and richly elaborate designs seem to break through time and are always in style. This particular pendant brooch was most likely crafted in the early 1970s as a lot of his designs in this period featured bold 18kt yellow hammered rope gold. Mr. Webb is quoted as saying ‘the more barbaric the better’ and this piece truly resembles that remark yet it also reveals a softer more delicate side with circular cut diamond’s dangling in platinum mountings in the openings of the pendant as well as on the bottom of it in clusters. There are 4 larger diamond’s weighing about 1.20 carats total and there are 9 smaller diamonds clustered together in groups of 3 in 3 different stations and they weigh about .55 carats total. The back of the pendant has a loop for a necklace and a pin to wear as a brooch. The back of the brooch is hallmarked by the designer. It weighs 26.7 grams, is in pristine condition and this is your chance to a own a rare one-of-a-kind piece from one of the world’s most sought after artist’s.
