    Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, The Alligator, was designed by James Houston in the 1970s. The design number is 82259. The crystal clear piece exhibits a 10" long curled alligator with open mouth and applied eyes and appendages with controlled bubbles. The underside is etched in script 'Steuben'. Its body measures 3 1/4" in width and its body with its tale measures about 5 1/2" in width and 3 1/2" in height. It weighs about 3 pounds, 10 ounces. The glass is in Excellent condition with very light scratches and scuffs on its underside from shelf wear. The original Box and Pouch are included.
