Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, The Donkey, was designed by Lloyd Atkins in 1965 and the design number is 8137. The crystal clear piece exhibits a 10 1/4" tall donkey with applied glass eyes, ears and tail. The underside is etched in script 'Steuben'. It measures 3 3/8" in length and 2 3/8" in depth and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. The glass is in Excellent condition with very light scratches and scuffs on its underside from shelf wear. The original Box and Pouch are included. The pouch shows some discoloration from age.
