    Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, The Elephant, was designed by James Houston in 1964 and the design number is 81287. The crystal clear piece exhibits a 7 3/4" tall trumpeting elephant with curled trunk and applied glass tusks and head. The underside is etched in script 'Steuben'. It measures 5" in length and 4" in depth and weighs about 4 1/2 pounds. The glass is in Excellent condition with very light scratches and scuffs on its underside from shelf wear. The original Box and Pouch are included.
