Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, The Polar Bear, was designed by Paul Schulze in 1988 and is design number 8568. The crystal clear piece exhibits an 5" tall polar bear extending its head and neck long as if it's looking over a cliff or ledge. The underside is etched in script 'Steuben'. It measures 7 1/2" in length and about 3" in depth and weighs about 6.2 pounds. The glass is in Excellent condition with very light scratches and scuffs on its underside from shelf wear. The original Box and Pouch are included.
