Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, Sea Lion, was designed by Lloyd Atkins in 1984. The design number is 8237. It is a crystal glass curved body in a playful position with tail flippers curled with applied eyes and foreflippers. The underside of the tail is etched 'Steuben'. Its body measures 7 3/4" in length, 4 1/4" in width and 4" in height. It weighs about 2 pounds, 2 ounces without the box. The glass is in Excellent condition with some shelf wear on its underside. The original box and pouch are included.
