Steuben Glass has been creating luxurious and exquisitely sculpted crystal glassware for over a century in New York. Each sculpture and meaningful creation evokes the spirit and craftsmanship that the company has been known for. This particular sculpture, The Koala, was designed by Lloyd Atkins in 1971 and is design number 8282. The crystal clear piece exhibits an 5 3/4" tall koala bear with applied glass nose, eyes, ears, legs and arms. The underside is etched in script 'Steuben'. It measures 4 5/8" in length and 3 5/8" in depth and weighs about 3.5 pounds. The glass is in Excellent condition with very light scratches and scuffs on its underside from shelf wear. The original Box and Pouch are included.
