Vintage Diamond Flame Pendant 14K

Here’s an interesting piece from the early 1920s that was most likely once a brooch and then converted into a necklace. The pendant and necklace are made of solid 14kt white gold and together weigh 7.5 grams. The pendant is crafted in such a fluid and organic form that when we first saw it it reminded us of a flame of fire. Yet when you wear the pendant necklace, the flame would be upside down and this could be intentional symbolizing a fiery personality. The piece is encrusted with 65 old mine cut diamond’s in a combination of bead and prong settings. The color grade ranges from G to N and the clarity grade ranges from SI1 to I1. The total diamond weight is approximately 3.15 carats. The necklace length measures 15 1/2” and its thickness is 1.30mm. The pendant length measures 1 3/4” and its width measures 1 1/8”. It’s in spectacular condition.
