Vintage Snowflake Ring with Diamonds 14K 1.25ctw

What better medium could portray the beauty of a snowflake than white gold and diamond’s. It’s a beautiful contrasting element as the snowflake is such a fragile example of uniqueness of nature and the diamond is arguably the hardest naturally occurring substance found on Earth. The ring was crafted by an artisan in most likely the 1960s and it is made of solid 14kt white gold. The center of the snowflake is a 1/2 carat round brilliant cut 6-prong set natural diamond graded I in color and I1 in clarity. It is surrounded by a symmetrical balance of 8 round full cut and 8 marquise cut natural diamond’s in prong settings. The average color grade of these mounting diamond’s is H-I, their clarity grade is SI1-SI2 and together weigh about .75 carats. The total diamond weight in the ring is approximately 1.25 carats and the ring itself weighs 4.9 grams. It is a size 6.25 and can be resized. It rises about almost 1/2” above your finger and its ring face measures about 5/8” in diameter. It’s in excellent condition and is a very unique piece to add to the snow-lover’s collection.
