Antique Georgian Snake Brooch Pin with Pearls & Gems

This rare and exquisite brooch was crafted in the early 1800s Georgian period and is in spectacular condition. This antique beauty is made up of an orchestra of pearls, diamonds and garnets which, in a snake-like form, weave their way around an emerald and a sapphire. A lovely oval pearl dangles at the base of the brooch. The brooch is made of solid 14kt yellow and rose gold with a sterling silver top and this is characteristic of this period. It measures 1 7/8" in length across and 1 1/2" in height.
